My name is Brandon Milligan. I was born and raised in Baxter, Iowa. I grew up on a small family farm with crops and have my own small herd of Angus cattle. My father is retired from Maytag and now enjoys spending his time farming, my mother is the Director of Occupational Health at Skiff Medical Center in Newton and my older sister lives in Newton and works in the radiology department at the Grinnell Hospital.
I am a recent graduate of Iowa State University. I received my bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Studies with a minor in Agronomy. I am very excited to start my new career at Smith Fertilizer & Grain. I will be working at the Pleasantville location as an agronomy salesman. Charles and I will be working together until I get established in the SFG system.
In my free time I enjoy being outdoors. I love to fish, hunt, play pool, do landscaping and my new found hobby of smoking meat. My two favorites are bow hunting and ice fishing. I love to watch football and my favorites teams are the Minnesota Vikings and the Iowa Hawkeyes. I have been a Hawkeye fan my whole life and remained loyal to them throughout my time spent at ISU. I heard about it all the time in Ames, but I still wore my black and gold proudly.
I look forward to meeting and working with all the customers in the Pleasantville area. I will be getting out meeting you and starting to build our relationships. If you are around the Pleasantville location please feel free to stop by anytime and visit with me. Stay warm and enjoy the holiday season!
