"I believe it was Walt Disney who said, 'If you can dream it, you can do it.' When Paul and I came up with this hike we didn't have a doubt that we could do it, even though we were told that we might be crazy, too old, and even have a screw loose.
The hike was called the Condinental Divide Loop. We styarted at Bear Lake Trailhead in Rocky Mountain National Park. After 9000 feet of elevation gain, 40+ miles, and three days later, we accomplished our goal. We packed all of our gear and camped out under the stars. We saw spectatular views and pushed ourselves to the limits. In the end we proved age does not define us.
It truly was the trip of a lifetime."
