Get Ready for Spring

Spring is right around the corner and soon we will be in the fields getting ready for the next crop. There are a lot of things to get ready and a short time to do it. Before we get to the fields take some time to meet with your agronomist to make sure you and they are on the same page, so everything goes smoothly this season.

We keep detailed maps of your fields. Take some time to go over those maps with your agronomist. This is especially important if you have seeded new waterways or sowed down a section of a field. While going over maps make your agronomist aware of any boundary changes so any chemical is not mis applied.

Find some time in the next few weeks to go over seed placement and population with your agronomist. Together with your agronomist you have picked seed hybrids for specific fields, and it is important that seed is placed correctly. When picking up your seed this spring ask to have the bags separated for field so it will be easy to get the right hybrid in the right field.

The planting season seems to sneak up on us every year, so it is important to take the time right now to meet with your agronomist to make sure everything goes smoothly this season. Take the time to call your SFG agronomist to set up a meeting.
