Spring Forage Seeding

As hay prices keep getting higher and supply seems to be tighter every yeark, it has been a hot topic with some of my livestock producing growers to add some hay ground to their operation. Last fall with the dry weather we never really got a good window to seed anything down until it was too late. With the recent snow and rain, it appears that we will have adequate soil moisture to plan on some spring seedings.

Here at SFG we have a full lineup of hay and forage seeds. We carry some of the best alfalfa genetics on the market from Croplan and La Crosse. We also offer GPS and conventional soil sampling to test acres before seeding, making sure that we are getting the correct nutrients to the new seedings.
