Guide Grazing with Lick Tubs

The rains are getting sporadic while the temperature has been climbing. The grass and crops are looking for any relief possible. The crops look fairly good, and the grass is doing ok. The livestock are not necessarily liking the drier grass that is available for them. Those of us that have big pastures that are not set up for paddock grazing, can use lick tubs to keep the livestock grazing in less desirable areas. Range studies out west have proven this practice works. Drop your tubs where you want the cattle, and they will follow you to the good ground.
